Water Analysis reports were accurate - Our new home in eastern Hillsborough county had well water very high in iron and hardness. We immediately had stains showing up in sinks and plumbing fixtures. We also had concerns about microorganism contamination since one household member has a compromised immune system. We had the water tested by Michael Athas (the owner/CEO) of #1 Advanced Water Treatment Inc. It was clear to us from the first time we met Michael that he is passionate about quality water. He specializes in well water, not just city water and that was important to us. Evaluations we got from other companies were brief and seemed only interested in softening the water. Michael was well versed in EVERY water issue. He was attentive to all of our water concerns and patiently answered our questions, which were many.
#1 Advanced Water Treatment Inc was an easy choice for us. We had all of our systems installed about two months ago and we absolutely LOVE our water. We have no rust stains or water spots which makes cleaning much easier. We opted for a UV light sterilization system so we are confident we are free of microorganisms and water borne bacteria. Lastly, we chose a reverse osmosis system for our kitchen and ice maker which makes great drinking water. After all systems were operational we submitted samples of our well water, softened water and reverse osmosis treated water to Ag and Environmental Services Lab at a university and received extensive official reports from each phase of the water treatments. Our son who is a chemist at the USDA also reviewed the results and gave his approval. Michael Athas #1 Advanced Water Treatment Inc. is serious about clean, quality water. Michael is professional, nice, and clearly hard working, as are the other installers who worked at our home. We highly recommend this company.
